Innovative Accounting and HR Practices Support 50% Growth and Decrease Support Needs
As
businesses and health practices grow, often the support required
to service them grows as well. Not with this client.
Quality Physician Services provided accounting, human resources
and payroll services for a multi-location practice.
Over the past few years, the practice has generated 5 times
more revenue, and doubled the number of physicians and staff.
Through innovative practices, QPS was able to REDUCE the number
of FTEs required to support their client by 50%.
QPS
implemented an electronic banking process which included payroll
direct deposit payroll and other time-savers. They also
created an employee manual and intranet with all of the appropriate new hire and other human resources
forms online for the office coordinators to utilize.
As labor laws changed, QPS communicated them to their clients,
and assisted them in appropriately identifying exempt and
hourly employees. QPS further ensured that payroll expenses
were appropriately managed by monitoring overtime and scheduling.
As
the practice acquired new locations and added physicians,
QPS coordinated credentialing,
malpractice insurance transfers, facility
lease payments and other accounts
payable and receivable changes
in order to ensure a smooth transition with the practice’s
growth. QPS has also decreased the amount of work that
practice coordinators have to do, and decreased the amount
of paper consumed in the offices as well.
