Karen Beasley
Accounting and Payroll Director
Karen
is responsible for all accounting,
payroll and human
resource consulting and outsourcing services for QPS.
Karen has been working with businesses, health practices
and hospitals for the past 10 years.
She
assisted practices in developing accounting procedures for
AP and AR, payroll programs, benefits packages and employee
manuals. Karen’s passion for business and understanding
of the health care industry have enabled her to have a significant
impact on practice bottom lines.
Karen
received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
– majoring in Marketing, geared towards International
Business. The combination of a well-rounded business
education and creative mind have enabled Karen to solve challenges
with innovative thinking, and proven strategies.
Karen
began her career as an information technology recruiter.
There she cut her teeth on the human resource arena, and learned
the business of information technology which would later work
with QPS technology subsidiary mPACTS.
From there, Karen went on to work with a multi-physician practice,
managing not only the HR responsibilities, but also accounting
and payroll. From there, Karen spent a few years with
a community hospital. QPS recognized Karen’s ability
to positively affect health care organizations from a financial
and human resource perspective, and offered her a position
with the firm.

Since
Karen has been working with QPS, she has also taken
on the responsibility of credentialing,
acquisition and merger process management and vendor
contract negotiations. Aside from her in-house
expertise, Karen also consults with clients in these
areas, and utilizes the tools and procedures she has
developed over the years to benefit their growth and
success.
Karen
loves to travel, take photographs and explore new places. |
