Sara Garrett
Credentialing and Contract Specialist

Sara coordinates all provider credentialing and managed care contracting for Quality Physician Services clients.  Sara’s tenacity and dedication to following up, has enabled her to ensure that all physicians and mid-level providers are properly credentialed.  She also evaluates managed care contracts to make sure they have favorable terms and works with senior level management to renegotiate terms when appropriate.

Sara has had exposure directly with medical offices, and understands the challenges that providers face in providing quality care, and juggling practice management duties.  She removes that burden from QPS client providers and makes sure that they have up-to-date licensure and documentation required for proper credentialing.

Sara has worked in many aspects of practice management at Quality Physician Services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, patient billing, medical office supply ordering and management, vendor contracts, payroll and office supply distribution.

Sara graduated from Clayton College and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management. 

In her spare time, Sara enjoys cooking, baking, shopping, spending time with family, friends, and Katie (her dog).  She also loves working out at the gym, traveling, and eating a variety of diverse cuisine. Her favorite escape is the beach.
